I use FreeCAD in windows with the LP version and Link-Asm3 version. I guess the answer is the Conda version and LP version use the same FreeCAD source, for a given version, but get all the dependencies from a different "package manager" Neither will be included in an official stable release. Glider is a packaging exercise/experiment because of it's complicated dependency structure. I haven't found a good way to automate this.Īs far as asm3, the reason for this is we have a custom built solvespace that make installation possible. I have been looking for a way to document the used dependencies for both, it's like About FreeCAD on steroids. But is working on a new Libpack that will leap frog many packages. At the moment the Conda dependencies lead the LP versions. Conda is maintained by a community and package upgrades are continuous. The library version differences are much greater than just OCCT. ![]() Shouldn't any actual differences be also mentioned? Like that Conda build contains now the Assembl圓 and Glider WB? And that Conda is OCCT 7.4.0 and LP is OCCT 7.3.0?
